There are two general categories of help requests that the Realm Linux support people see. The first is a problem or “bug” where something that should work doesn't. This can either be a problem with a user's account customizations, a problem with a specific machine, a problem with a specific software package, or a general problem with the Realm Linux.
The second type of help request is what we term a “howto” question. This is a question along the lines of, “How can I configure my account to use a different window manager in Linux than in Solaris?”. The following sections will help you decide where to turn for help in either of these cases.
